This recognition celebrates one of our most unique and thoughtfully designed projects—a pool that blends family fun with elegant, resort-style features. It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by FSPA, and we’re thrilled to highlight the project that earned this distinction.
A Pool Designed for Family Fun and Luxury
Measuring 15 feet by 41 feet, this award-winning pool was crafted with family-friendly enjoyment at its core. The design includes a playful splash pad featuring five water jets, perfect for children to safely splash and explore. Adjacent to the splash zone is a shallow kiddie area with 15 inches of water, ideal for the homeowners’ young children to enjoy under the sun.
To enhance the visual appeal and safety of the play area, slip-resistant mosaics by Artistry in Mosaics were integrated throughout the splash pad, while whimsical 5” to 6” mosaic accents adorn the steps in the kiddie pool area. These subtle yet creative design choices bring both charm and functionality to the space.
Resort-Style Relaxation Meets Creative Design
At the heart of the project is a stunning 7′ x 7′ elevated spa, raised 18 inches and clad in gleaming glass tile that catches the light beautifully throughout the day. With eight bubbling jets, the spa provides a luxurious retreat for relaxation just steps away from the splash zone.
Adjacent to the spa is a 5′ x 6′ sundeck, perfect for lounging and soaking in the Florida sunshine. A floating walkway made of Ivory Travertine artfully divides the sundeck from the splash pad, combining aesthetic beauty with practical access.
Along the entire 41-foot length of the pool, a 24-inch raised wall with three 36-inch sheer descents adds a dramatic focal point. These elegant water features offer not only visual intrigue but also a calming soundtrack of gently cascading water, enhancing the tranquil feel of the outdoor space.
Details That Make the Difference
The main swimming area of the pool, measuring 15′ x 22′, includes large resort-style entry stairs adorned with playful blue sea turtle mosaics. A wraparound bench provides ample in-water seating, extending from the shallow end to the deep end for guests of all ages to relax comfortably.
The pool’s depth ranges from 3 to 5 feet, making it perfect for both play and leisure. The interior surface is finished with Sky Blue gem coat from Florida Stucco, while Ivory Travertine coping and a Fibermesh Concrete deck finished with FloKrete and painted add polish and durability. To bring the space to life after dark, the project includes eight nichless, color-changing LED lights, creating a vibrant nighttime ambiance.
